EarlyON, where families come together to learn, play, and connect. EarlyON Child and Family programs offer free, inclusive and welcoming programs for parents, caregivers and young children from birth to six years old. These high-quality programs are designed to cater to the diverse needs of families and children. This is a drop in program and space is limited.

Get ready to celebrate Mom with a special craft at the library!  Children will create heartfelt keepsakes to show their appreciation for all the love and care moms, maternal figures and caregivers give!  For children ages 4-12.

Learn how to make chocolate roses using Hershey Kisses Chocolates at Thorncliffe’s Youth Hub. Express your love for your mom or someone special with a chocolate rose.

Drop-in. No registration is required. Materials are limited. First-come, first-served. Ages 13-17.

Join us to learn about the Makers Making Change program and to switch-adapt toys.  Participants will learn how to take apart a toy, identify buttons that control the toy, and solder in jacks that will allow someone to control the toy with an assistive switch.  All switch-adapted toys will be donated to children with disabilities across Ontario by Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program to make play accessible to families with children with disabilities across Canada.  Volunteer hours can be provided to participants upon request.

Dive into an engaging and thought-provoking documentary twice a month.  We explore the social, political and historical aspects of issues impacting current social conditions and political events. 
Filmmakers for the Prosecution retraces the hunt for film evidence that could convict Nazis at the Nuremberg Trial in 1945. These film documents shaped our understanding of the Holocaust. French journalist and filmmaker Jean-Christophe Klotz  uncovered never-before-seen footage, and interviews of key figures to unravel the resulting film made at the time about the trial at Nuremberg:
