Solar Eclipse Viewing

From approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on April 8th, Toronto will experience a near total solar eclipse. For those who participated in our “Make A Pin-Hole Viewer” program, we welcome you to bring your construct. For those who did not, we are offering free protective glasses to view the eclipse. This is a courtesy from the University of Toronto’s Dunlap Institute. The glasses will be distributed prior to the occurrence of the eclipse, and during as needed.

Drop in, no registration required. Number of glasses are limited, first come, first served.
