PROGRAM FULLY BOOKED - WAIT LIST ONLY

In this workshop, participants will share the stories that animated our childhood and look at examples of fairy tales from across the world. Thinking about both the cross-cultural significance and unique cultures that birthed some of these fairy tales, we will deconstruct these stories to use in our own poems. We will think of how the stories our parents and grandparents told us have affected us throughout our lives as well as what stories we choose to tell to our own children or loved ones.

Participants can attend this workshop on its own or with the others in its series. Registration required, spaces are limited. To register call 416-393-7085 or email trllanglit@tpl.ca .

This program is presented by Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang, TPL’s Spring 2024 Writer in Residence whose focus is Poetry for an Adult Audience. Learn more about TPL's Writer in Residence program, including upcoming programs and one-on-one consultation sessions.
