PROGRAM FULLY BOOKED - NO WAITING LIST SPACE

In this workshop, participants will explore how to express the deeply personal using their unique perspective, history, and culture. Grounded in the senses and specificity, exercises will build on one another to help you tell your own story. Attendees will also read a diverse slate of poets who express their unique truth. Then, using techniques pulled from these poems, writers will think about their own eyes, what they say about you and what they have seen. After the workshop you will be better prepared to invite readers behind those eyes.

Participants can attend this workshop on its own or with the others in its series. Registration required, spaces are limited. To register call 416-393-7085 or email trllanglit@tpl.ca .

This program is presented by Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang, TPL’s Spring 2024 Writer in Residence whose focus is Poetry for an Adult Audience. Learn more about TPL's Writer in Residence program, including upcoming programs and one-on-one consultation sessions.
