Did you know there is a solar eclipse on April 8, 2024? Make your own pinhole solar viewer to safely view the sun! Astronomers from the Dunlap Institute will explain the principles behind pinhole cameras, how they can be used to view bright objects such as the sun and what actually happens during a solar eclipse. Then, make your own solar viewer to take home! All materials will be provided.

This program is part of programming leading up to this special event. A limited number of eclipse glasses will be available for program attendees.
