Intro to 3D Printing and 3D Design

New to 3D Printing and Design? Come and watch and learn from TPL Staff on how a 3D printer works in the Digital Innovation Hub.
Class instruction includes:
- How to prepare a 3D design file for print and understand common tools and settings within the 3D Printers.
- How to find resources such as already made 3D designs in popular databases
- Overview of different 3D applications and software
Followed by the introduction to printing, class participants will be given a hands-on workshop where they learn how to create simple 3D designed key chain and become familiar with design tools using Autodesk Tinkercad.
