Excel Basics Part 2: Do More With Your Data

An introductory class on Microsoft Excel for beginners with little or no Excel experience. Build on your basic Microsoft Excel skills and learn to use Excel data effectively.
In this second session you will:
- Practice data entry and formatting
- Manipulate rows and columns
- Create and copy simple formulas 
- Convert data to a Table then sort and filter
- Create your first chart
Upon completion of this class students will be able to get more from their data using tables, filters and charts.
Pre-requisites:  Excel Basics Part 1 or equivalent knowledge. Basic mouse and keyboard skills required.
Format:  Hands-on with demonstrations

Python is an open source programming language that is used for creating web applications, web content, mathematics and system scripting. In this online course you will learn how python code works and given time to practice. Prior coding knowledge is not necessary for this introductory class. Key takeaways will include a working knowledge of variables, loops, conditional arguments and much more.

This class is for beginners but assumes you have a basic understanding of computer skills -- basically, if you can use a word processor or surf the web, you can learn Python!

Prior to the class, participants will need to download and install Python and VS Code onto their personal computers (installation guides provided after registration).

Registration is limited and specific instructions including information about software installation will be provided.

Build on your basic Microsoft Word 2019 skills and learn to use Word more effectively.
In this class you will:  
- Practice new Word skills while you design a flyer
- Format text, margins, indents, headers and footers
- Format text as columns
- Create bulleted, numbered and sorted lists
- Review your document with Spelling and Grammar check and Thesaurus
Upon completion of this class students will be able to use even more Word tools to design their documents.
Pre-requisite:  Word Basics 1 or equivalent skills. Basic keyboarding and mouse skills required.
Format: Hands-on with demonstrations
