Learn some of the basics of Adobe InDesign by creating a small magazine (zine) with some commonly used tools. The tutorial will cover layout, text controls, images, and preparing your project to print. Computers will be provided for this class.

Python is an open source programming language that is used for creating web applications, web content, mathematics and system scripting. In this course you will learn how python code works and be given time to practice. Prior coding knowledge is not necessary for this introductory class. Key takeaways will include a working knowledge of variables, loops, conditional arguments and much more. Computers will be provided for this class.

Learn some more advanced features of Adobe InDesign by designing a book. The class will cover more advanced text controls and functionality that make formatting large documents easier. Computers will be provided for this class.

This class assumes you have a basic understanding of InDesign or have attended Publication Design 1 with Adobe InDesign.

Tinkercad is a browser based software that can be used by designers of all ages. In this class kids will explore how to turn simple 3D shapes into fun 3D designs.

In this class, kids will learn the basic concepts of coding by using Scratch's block based coding system while creating a simple two player video game.

Leap into the world of virtual reality at the library! Join this drop-in session to try out the Meta Quest virtual reality headset and immerse yourself in stunning 360-degree environments, engage in captivating adventures, and interact with the virtual world.
