For people who have basic internet skills, and want to learn how to shop online with confidence.  Whether you need groceries or home appliances, almost anything can be purchased and delivered to your home.  We teach you how to find goods and services online, look for customer reviews or consumer testing results and provide tips and guidelines on how to shop safely, securely and with confidence.   Resource handout provided.

An introductory class on Microsoft Excel 2019 for absolute beginners with little or no Excel experience.

In this first session you will:

- Learn the basic function and design of Excel files
- Practice basic data entry for text, numbers, and basic functions: Sum, AutoSum and Average
- Create and save your first workbook and worksheets
Upon completion of this class students will be able to use Excel at a basic level.
Pre-requisites: Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required.

In today’s class, we will be making flower baskets! We will also have supplies for card making. Make your special someone a special gift!For ages 6 to 12.

NEW! Snacks are now being offered during the After School Club for participants. Food may contain or have come into contact with common allergens. Ingredient lists will be available.

  • Basics of 3D Printing
  • How to prepare a 3D design file for print
  • How to access and use 3D printer at the Digital Innovation Hub at Toronto Public Library
  • Best practice for 3D printing and where to find designs.
  • Review of the rules and guidelines to using the 3D printer at the Toronto Public Library
