Kids will learn how to create simple 3D models using the easy to use Tinkercad Design software. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Explore the technology available for use including Snap Circuits, Dash and Dot and Sphero robots! This is a great opportunity to come and explore some of the fun tech Guildwood Library has to offer!

Dashes and Spheros are robots that can be programmed using visual programming languages on a tablet. We will start with a short introduction to thinking like coders and then kids will have a chance to form teams and solve fun but complex coding challenges.

Crafters assemble! Work together to create fairy garden décor and other fantasies in miniature. Bring some of your own materials and work with our supplies too.

In this class, kids will learn the basic concepts of coding by using Scratch's block based coding system while creating a simple video game.

Join Victoria Village and the Pop-Up Learning Labs for a weekly After School Tech club in the month of May!

In this first week we will be exploring the world of 3D printing, looking into how 3D printers work, how we can get files for 3D printing, and how we can prepare those files for printing using a special software called a Slicer. We will have a 3D printer printing live so kids will have a chance to see exactly how models are created!

This is a drop in program and all children ages 9-12 are welcome.
