Cette présentation mettra en lumière les opportunités pour les francophones qui souhaitent immigrer au Canada. 

Nous aborderons les politiques récentes en matière d'immigration francophone, les programmes spécifiquement conçus pour les francophones, ainsi que les critères d'éligibilité. 

Les participants auront également l'occasion d'en apprendre davantage sur les défis uniques auxquels sont confrontés les francophones immigrés en Ontario, tout en découvrant les ressources et les soutiens disponibles pour faciliter leur arrivée et leur établissement dans la province.

Learn some more advanced features of Adobe InDesign by designing a book. The class will cover more advanced text controls and functionality that make formatting large documents easier.

This class assumes you have a basic understanding of InDesign or have attended Publication Design 1 with Adobe InDesign.

La fabuleuse collection de Gertrude Stein, femme engagée.

Née en Pennsylvanie dans une famille aisée, Gertrude Stein (1874-1946) abandonne bientôt ses études de psychologie et de philosophie pour suivre, à Paris, ses frères Léo et Mickaël. Passionnée par la littérature, brillante auteure elle-même (Trois Vies, 1909), l’on croise dans son appartement parisien des écrivains tels que Scott Fitzgerald ou Ernest Hemingway. Mais c’est son goût pour la peinture moderne qui révèle le mieux son génie ; elle acquiert les œuvres les plus avant-gardistes de Matisse dès le « Salon d’Automne » de 1905 et se passionne bientôt pour Picasso, dont la radicalité fait écho à la sienne en littérature. Egalement collectionneur, Léo reste fidèle aux Fauves, tandis que Mickaël et son épouse Sarah demandent à Le Corbusier de construire leur villa près de Paris. Sans cette famille si originale, l’Histoire de l’Art n’aurait sans doute pas été la même !


La conférence est proposée par Gilles Genty, historien de l’art.
