Silent book Club

Bring in a book of choice! We read for 30 minutes and then we each discuss what we have read.

Join us for an introductory lesson and learn about the most common tools. We'll explore the workspace and enhance images while investigating tools such as crop, levels, colour balance and more. See how an image can be altered and repaired using patch tools such as the clone and healing brush tools. We'll also dive deep into the world of layers and how you can manage them for those really unique and fun projects.

Basic computing skills are required. Keyboard and mouse skills are required.

Tinkercad is a web browser based 3D application. Through the creation of simple everyday objects students will learn the tools for object based 3D Design.

Come and tinker with modern pieces of technology that Toronto Public Library has to offer including 3D printers, Dash and Dot robots, Snap Circuits electronics, and more. 

This program is open to all ages.

Celebrate 100 years of the Gerrard/Ashdale Branch by visiting our exhibit of local art and poetry that honours our favourite library memories. 

Community members of all ages are invited to submit their art and poetry for this exhibition, with the theme "Memories of Gerrard/Ashdale Library". What are your favourite memories of Gerrard/Ashdale? 

Art will be exhibited all day on Saturday May 11, with the opening of the exhibit from 12pm-1pm.

Exhibitors: Please drop off art/poetry at our branch by Monday May 6. 

After the exhibition, art/poetry can be picked up on Mon May 13.
